Common questions

  • Do you offer in-person sessions?

No — I see clients exclusively by secure, HIPAA-compliant video. You can meet with me from anywhere in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, or Virginia.

  • What does a first session look like?

We start with a free brief consult to make sure we're a good fit. The first full session (60 minutes) is a chance to talk more about what brings you in and what you'd like to get out of therapy.

  • Do you take my insurance?

I'm in-network with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Oxford, Horizon BCBS, Anthem, Carelon, CareFirst BCBS, Tricare, Medicare, Cigna, and Evernorth. If your plan is out-of-network, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.

  • What kinds of concerns do you work with?

Anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship concerns, challenging medical conditions, and life transitions. I also have particular experience with LGBTQ+ individuals and the military community.

  • How do I get started?

Call (609) 649-9161 or send a note through the contact page, and we'll set up a free brief consult.
